- For draping furniture, walls and instead of the usual curtains, disposable dark-colored tablecloths are suitable. They can be easily decorated with stickers, fabric/paper appliqués;
- if you glue extraterrestrial landscapes onto the glass, party guests will be in for a surprise - a surreal “view” from the window;
- To decorate the walls/ceiling you will need asteroids dotted with craters, nebulae and galaxies shimmering with colors, tailed comets, bright stars. Cut out printouts, draw, make appliques, garlands - everything will come in handy;
- Draw the outlines of the continents on multi-colored balls, make planets from papier-mâché. It's fast, effective and inexpensive. You can simply cut out round “planets” from thick cardboard;
- cut out drawn/printed rockets, spaceships, astronauts, satellites. It is better to attach this and all the decor listed above to a fishing line to create the effect of weightlessness;

- if it's a kids' party, populate the room with funny space creatures. Ideas can be gleaned from the cartoons “Planet 51”, “Escape from Planet Earth”, “Guardian of the Moon”, etc.
- hang printed photos of the ISS, legendary astronauts, pictures with views on the walls. You can cover part of the walls and bulky furniture with children's photo wallpapers depicting the starry sky and the universe.
Light design plays an important role. For a space-themed party, use everything you can find/buy:
- glow in the dark paint, stickers. They can decorate literally everything, from comet rockets to dishes, furniture, costumes;
- neon sticks, bracelets, LED strips. Pennies if you order in small wholesale via the Internet. Assemble into compositions, decorate the ceiling, walls, table;
- electric garlands with star-shaped bulbs, “planets” balls, “rocket” cones;
- Battery-powered candles are suitable for illuminating backdrops. You can also put them in transparent jars with walls lined with thin paper (paper inside, with a pattern in a cosmic style);
- For a big party, ask your friends or rent some lava lamps, disco ball, starry sky projectors. Small but effective bright projectors can be bought at a children's store;
To make all the illumination “play”, use metallized paper, foil, Christmas tree rain, and sparkles in the decor. Reflecting from the smooth sparkling surface, the backlight will create extraordinary, truly extraterrestrial beauty!
Don't forget balloons, all kinds. It's easy to assemble aliens from Linkings (balls with two tails) and ShDMs (long ones). Place confetti and sweets in large gift boxes (wide neck). Foil balloons are produced in the shape of stars, monsters, etc. And it’s not difficult to make beautiful glowing balls from ordinary ones by putting neon sticks inside. Or like this:
- Cut the ShDM into pieces slightly longer than the battery. You can simply tape the diode to the battery with electrical tape/adhesive tape, but such a winding will be visible through the latex of the inflated balloon;
- Place the resulting elastic cover on the tip of the scissors and stretch it a little. Place a coin cell battery inside and insert the LED contacts. Release the rubber band - it should tightly cover the battery, pressing the contacts. Doesn't light up? Reverse the LED (polarity is important);
- Make sure that the rubber band covers the sharp ends of the contacts, otherwise they will tear the ball. Place inside the balloon and inflate. It will glow for up to 2 days!

- rockets from large boxes. Cut out the portholes, glue on cardboard “nozzles” and pointed “noses”, and write “Apollo 11” vertically. Or how old is the birthday boy?
- flat (silhouettes) cardboard spacesuits, flying saucers, spaceships with holes for faces. Plus a dark background with glued stars and planets.
- if you have space party for adults, a standard banner will do. Glue a printed photo/drawing of space, the surface of an alien planet, the starry sky.

The most artistic option is to invent or copy the image of an alien inhabitant(cinema, cartoons). You can use shiny materials, attach tentacles, legs, arms, and even a second head with Velcro! Velcro is convenient to use to remove unnecessary parts of the costume after taking a photo as a souvenir - in a very “cosmic” look it will be uncomfortable for guests.

- You can buy tableware for a space party or make it yourself, decorating simple disposable plates and glasses with rocket stars;
- thematic cards, flags, silhouettes of astronauts and UFOs will be useful for decorating skewers and cocktail tubes;
- The real space food will surely amaze your guests! You can order via the Internet or make an imitation (soft tubes of baby puree, yoghurt + themed stickers);

- cut vegetables, bread, fruits, hams and cheeses into the shapes of stars, rockets, planets;
Surprise your party guests with “space” products– vegetables and fruits of unusual colors: yellow and black tomatoes, white and black carrots, white cucumbers, purple cauliflower, etc. All this is sold in the markets, you just need to look.
- molecular cuisine will come in handy! Almost real alien dishes - you won’t guess what’s on the plate. For a dish from a chef from distant Jupiter, exotic fruits, sauces, and drinks of unusual colors will do;
- make cake decorations from fondant, cupcakes, cookies in thematic form. It's as simple as sculpting from plasticine! Natural juices and food coloring are suitable for coloring.

Accuracy competition. Give the pins eyes, tentacles and scary grins, and knock them down with “asteroids”. Or draw the outlines of continents on balloons and throw darts with comet “tails” at them. Or you can shoot from a water pistol, a slingshot, or even a pneumatic gun (if the party is for adults).
Black hole
The table part of the scenario so that the guests can relax. Print out stills from films/cartoons about space and aliens. Cover one fragment with a black paper “blot” (a small piece of double-sided tape). The goal is to guess who/what was “swallowed” by the black hole. In teams or every man for himself.
Blind evolution
Two teams, two sheets of whatman paper with a drawn silhouette of an alien. Two sets (for each picture) - eyes, mouths, ears, arms and legs. Body parts need to be drawn and then cut out. Show the guests what you should get - a sample. The goal is to blindfold and glue (with tape) a part of the body to where it was in the sample picture. The end result will be two different funny weirdos.
Parade of planets(gymnastic balls with “ears”)
The holders are needed so that you can jump while sitting on the balls. Team relay race - gallop to the finish line, drink a glass to the health of the birthday boy, gallop back, pass the ball to the next one. If everyone is for himself, then the whole crowd races to the finish line.

- facts about space, any. To make it easier, you can choose the option closest to the correct answer;
- take turns calling “space” films/cartoons;
- take turns, without hesitation, name associations with the word “space”.
And also t dance as on Venus, Jupiter and Mars. How is that? But let the party guests come up with ideas! Organize a competition for the best costume that your friends came in.
