A driving instructor is the essence of the profession, what should a driving instructor be like? Requirements for a driving instructor Where is the instructor available?

Driving a vehicle is not an easy process. Driving a car requires certain skills from the driver, as well as mandatory knowledge of traffic rules designed to ensure safety on the road.

Such knowledge cannot be acquired independently. Of course, you can learn to drive a car yourself, but it is very difficult to do.

Much easier gain driving skills, and also learn the rules of the road by attending special driving schools. In addition, do not forget that it is simply impossible to obtain a driver’s license without graduating from a driving school and passing exams.

Training future drivers are taught by special professors, that is, instructors. These people conduct classes to teach students traffic rules as well as vehicle control skills. The work is very responsible, since the instructor must put into the head of each student in a driving school all the knowledge that he will definitely need on the road.

Many people have already excellent driving skills are thinking about becoming a driving instructor. Some may find this work very interesting, and some may pay attention to this profession because of the good salary. This article will talk about what is required to get a job as a driving instructor.

To begin with, we should note one important point that everyone who wants to become an instructor in a driving school should remember. This is what everyone who decides to get a job as a driving instructor should start from.

The fact is that ability to drive a vehicle well is not decisive. Of course, this is one of the main requirements for a future instructor, which is quite logical. But we should not forget that the ability to drive a car does not guarantee the ability to transfer these skills to students.

Therefore, if the reader simply does not have any teaching abilities, this work is unlikely to suit him. In this case, it is not recommended to get a job as a driving instructor. This profession means great responsibility, so it’s better to think several times before thinking about getting such a job. A person should strive to become a driving instructor if he has the ability and desire for this, and if this desire is due to a simple desire to earn money.

How to become a driving instructor?

Now you should turn your attention to list of requirements for a future instructor on driving, which everyone who wants to work in a driving school even knows about. If someone who wants to work as a driving instructor does not meet all the required requirements, it will be impossible to get the desired job in a driving school.

So, what requirements must a candidate for a driving instructor at a driving school meet:

It is recommended to pay attention to the last item on the list. The fact is that you can become an instructor without taking special courses. But here there is a point that you should definitely know about. The absence of a certificate of completion of special courses will allow you to become an instructor, but only on a private basis. This means that a car enthusiast will only be able to teach to people who already have category B, but would like to gain more experience in driving a vehicle. This option would be ideal for those people who want to teach, but only from time to time.

Training to become a driving instructor

So that after all become a driving instructor at a driving school, you must complete the appropriate courses. The most interesting thing is that taking such courses allows you to receive not only a document about their completion, which will later be needed when obtaining a profession, but also the necessary knowledge that allows you to behave correctly with students. This is very important, especially if the future driving instructor does not yet have teaching experience. Also, these courses can allow you to refresh your existing knowledge, as well as receive useful tips regarding situations in which even the most experienced drivers can make mistakes.

Taking special courses allows you to get a certain base for training driving school students from scratch. Also, do not forget about acquiring the skills of combining theory and practice, which is really very important in teaching driving. Courses for driving instructors are not just ordinary training sessions for obtaining a corresponding profession. The cadet will be able to undergo real training on creating his own educational program, which can subsequently become a factor in attracting new clients.

Cost of courses for driving instructors

Now we should clarify the point regarding the cost of such special courses. A person who subsequently wants to work as a driving instructor in a driving school will definitely be interested in this issue.

Cost of instructor courses for driving schools at the moment it will be no less than twelve thousand rubles for one and a half to two months of training. That is, it is from this point that all prices start. It is hardly possible to talk about any fixed price, which is why the minimum amount was given.

After completing the courses, you will have to try to find a job. To do this, you can simply spend some time calling or submitting a resume to several different driving schools. There is nothing complicated about this.

What options for working as a driving instructor can you consider?

Before you start working as an instructor, you should first decide in which mode will it be more convenient to carry out training? future drivers. Not everyone can devote their entire time to working in a driving school, so for such people there is the opportunity to choose a work option that suits them. This will be discussed below.

So, what two options for working as a driving instructor exist? This question has already been answered above in the article, albeit in passing, so it is better to answer it again and more specifically. Two options for working as a driving instructor:

  • Privately;
  • At the driving school.

To begin with, we should say a few words about the implementation of training for future drivers on a private basis. Of course, there are certain advantages to this, but there are more disadvantages. The main advantage, of course, is that private driving instructor, works for himself. That is, he simply does not have a boss, and there is no fixed rate, which gives the driving instructor complete freedom of action to set prices for his services.

Also, do not forget that a private driving instructor will need It is mandatory to convert your vehicle into a training vehicle. To do this you will need to install an additional pedal. The training vehicle will also have to be registered. After all, according to the documents, it will already be a different vehicle.

What are the advantages of working as a driving instructor in a driving school:

  • The driving school provides the instructor with a converted vehicle, which allows him not to worry about converting his car;
  • Stable financial income. A driving instructor working in a driving school has the opportunity to receive a stable salary, unlike private traders, whose income greatly depends on the situation with the flow of students;
  • By the way, about the flow of cadets. The driving school also provides a stable flow of students, which immediately eliminates the problem associated with a possible lack of clients.

As can be noted from the above list, Working in a driving school has its advantages, which may influence the subsequent choice of a future driving instructor. Everyone is free to choose what suits them best. But it is always necessary to weigh the pros and cons. Without doing this, you can be very disappointed in your choice and in the profession as a whole.

From people teaching how to drive a car? two professional holidays - Driver's Day and Teacher's Day. And this is no coincidence. After all, the main thing in this profession is to be a teacher, at least at heart. Boris Kozenko, a specialist at the Signal driving school, spoke about the everyday life of a driving instructor.

- Boris, tell us how you became a driving instructor?

Accidentally. If someone had told me earlier that I would choose this profession, I would never have believed it. It seemed to me that this work was nervous, thankless, everyone needed to be taught, repeated a thousand times. I always thought that we should erect monuments to teachers and treated my instructor with great respect. And so my friend, a driving instructor, asked me to “finish” his group, and after graduation, the director of the driving school invited me to stay. As a rule, people are accepted as instructors only by recommendation; those who come through an advertisement do not stay long. Not because they are being “survived”, they just don’t know where they are going. But until you try, you won’t know whether it’s for you or not. I tried it and I liked it. It's nice to know that I can give something to people and watch students make progress. And the profession actually turned out to be not very nervous. The biggest stress is the exam that your students take. I was especially worried when the first group graduated.

-Are you less worried now?
- It can be frustrating when students make mistakes during an exam. You ask why you did it this way and not otherwise, because you know how to do it, you can do everything, and the answer is “I don’t know.” You immediately feel guilty, it turns out you didn’t teach something. I worry not when they don’t pass exams, but when they drive and pass poorly. There was a case when a student did not make a single mistake in an exam, and she was given a pass. But she's not ready for the city! We agreed on additional classes after I received my license.

- The traffic police exam is a difficult test for many. How do you set up your students?
- Yes, the exam is stressful for many. But there are still some students who, in principle, are afraid of people in uniform. We have to constantly repeat that the inspector is the same person. If possible, I try to have someone else travel with us before the exam, and even better, comment on the situation on the road, that is, pretend to be an inspector, despite the fact that this is prohibited by the rules. After this, students behave calmer during the exam; they are already a little trained. During the exam itself, I try to provide moral support to the students. Some people need to be made to laugh, I can tell a joke, while others, on the contrary, need to be pushed. One student at the race track took a breath and held it in her mouth. I calmed her down, but she was already starting to turn blue, I had to tell a joke to relax at least a little.

- Were there any funny incidents during the exams?
- … Winter. Black ice. The student accelerated to such an extent that even the car that was transporting students fell behind us. The inspector’s words: “Tomorrow there will be ice racing at the motor track, you will participate in it, right? Let's be a little quieter." We felt a little uneasy. But I have pedals, and the inspector in the back seat got it. There was a creepy incident in class. I tell the student: we are looking for a place to turn around, and this is not the first time we have successfully turned around there. She moves into the left lane. KAMAZ is coming to the meeting. She turns the steering wheel through a double solid line directly under this KAMAZ. I understand that if I start straightening it now, there will be a head-on collision, that is, the KAMAZ will crush us. Of course, it was my fault, I relaxed a little and realized it too late. In general, we turned around and ran into a curb right across the road. It was really scary.

- It’s probably difficult to restrain your emotions in such situations?
- In such situations, the calmer you behave, the more likely you will not get into an accident. But there were times when I wanted to scream at the student. Of course, I try to restrain myself, but it’s difficult. For example, if a student does not obey. You tell him: “We are obliged to let pedestrians pass at unregulated pedestrian crossings, that is, without traffic lights.” I press on the brake, he presses on the gas, says: “Let them stand.” Or constantly exceeds the speed limit. “Look at the speedometer!” - useless! Such a person will not pass the exam until he understands that the instructor is not a parrot and is not talking in vain. But I doubt that this person will make a diligent driver. There are also situations in which an immediate reaction is needed, then you have to raise your voice. But only so that the student reacts faster, and not in order to throw out his emotions on him.

- It turns out that patience and calmness are important qualities for an instructor. What else?
- If we talk about professional driving skills, the instructor must see everything around and think for everyone (for his student, for other drivers, for pedestrians), and be able to predict the situation on the road. If we talk about the instructor as a psychologist, in the first lesson he should not determine what type of person gets into his car and make any initial assumptions about what can be expected from him, whether it will be easy for him to learn. The idea of a student should be formed during the learning process. It is necessary to find an approach to everyone, to give them the opportunity to open up.

- Have you, as a teacher, had to use non-standard teaching methods?
- It took a long time for one student to master the exercises on the race track. I had to advise her to play with remote-controlled children's cars, see how they behave, how they overcome various obstacles. She came to the next lesson “prepared”; it was the last lesson at the race track. In this regard, computer games lose. There was such a student - an avid computer scientist. Six months before he came to us to study, he bought himself toys, pedals, and a steering wheel. He came and said, “I know how to drive.” We “fought” him for a very long time; it was very difficult to prepare him for real life. Like on a computer, he didn’t move the steering wheel, he held it in one place as far as his hands could reach, turned it as far as he could, then began to lean further. Several times this caused me to hit my head against the glass of the door. I had to drive more around sharp turns and U-turns with it.

- What other difficulties arise during the learning process?
- It’s hard when you plan with your student in the next lesson to move on to studying more complex elements of driving (from turning right, left, to U-turns), but for some reason he comes “stuck” at the level of some lesson, although there has been constant progress in his studies . During such periods, you begin to wonder where I missed something, how to correct the situation.

- Name the pros and cons of your profession...
- I’ll start with a minus - despite the fact that I don’t like to rest, sometimes I get tired of a busy schedule and want to call the student and cancel the lesson. But there is nowhere to “throw” it. You get up and go to work. There are enough advantages: constantly new communication, with different people, new acquaintances, sometimes even very useful ones (laughs), the salary is quite decent. And you just get satisfaction from the fact that people are grateful to you. At least it seems to me that the students are happy with me, and I am flattered by this. Compared to previous places of work (on a bus, on a truck crane), I relax at this job. The work schedule, although stressful, is something I choose myself. During the learning process, it is agreed upon at a time more convenient for me and the student. In addition, each released group for me is a kind of career vertical, which, in general, does not exist in our profession. I achieved good results - I grew in my own eyes.

Education
To become an instructor, in addition to at least three years of driving experience, you must take special courses at a continuing education institute that last a month. Upon completion, you are issued a diploma and an instructor’s certificate, more precisely, a “master of industrial training in driving a car.” The driving instructor will have to attend such courses every three years to improve their qualifications.

Demand

There are about 50 driving schools in Novosibirsk. Half of them have several branches. This number increases every year. Citizens have more and more opportunities to buy a car, and the demand for driving courses is growing accordingly. According to driving school employees, the need for new employees arises at a time when it is planned to open a new branch. And so basically there are stable teams everywhere. A small staff turnover is only possible in driving schools where remuneration is fixed by salary.

Wage
Depends on production. Taking into account the cost of gasoline and spare parts, it comes out to about 3,000 rubles per student. The number of students depends on the season. For example, during the New Year holidays, frosts, you can sit without work. The best season is summer. During this period, one instructor can train 12-14 students. But this is already a bit hard - working seven days a week. The most “convenient” number of students is 8-9. Then there is a salary and time to rest. Some driving schools keep their instructors on salary. In this case, the salary of a driving instructor is from 5,000 rubles per month.

If you are...
a professional driver who can predict the traffic situation,
patient,
you have a good reaction
understand the psychology of people,
a teacher at heart,
then you are a real driving instructor.

“I would like to become a driver, let them teach me...” As children, we all read these poems, which describe various professions. We all dream of becoming someone, some an engineer, some a chemist, some a translator, and some a president. And these are not necessarily childhood dreams; some people change their profession already in adulthood. And becoming a driving instructor after 10 years of driving a taxi is a very real dream. There are people who have a talent for learning to drive. Getting to such a driving instructor is every student’s dream.

There are many driving instructors, and good ones are affordable. After all, not everyone can find an approach to a different contingent of driver candidates. Not everyone has teaching talent, psychological stability and endurance. Therefore, if you decide to become a driving instructor just to earn extra money, then know that without the above qualities and good driving experience, you will not stay in this profession for long.

Let's take a closer look at the profession of a driving instructor: do you need a driving instructor license, what are the current requirements for them, what is their responsibility, how much does it cost to become a driving instructor and will it pay off?

DO YOU NEED A DRIVING INSTRUCTOR LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE?

There are three options: an illegal driving instructor, a driving school instructor, or a private driving instructor.

Illegal driving instructor. Looks for gullible citizens and teaches them to drive at their own peril and risk. Such activity is fraught with punishment in the form of a fine of 5-15 thousand rubles for a student and 30 thousand rubles for an illegal instructor (clauses 1 and 3 of Article 12.7 of the Administrative Code). Why the fine? Because such training driving is nothing more than driving without a driver’s license and transferring control of the vehicle to a person without a driver’s license. Moreover, the tax office may be interested in such an instructor. The fine from the tax office is 10 times greater than from the traffic police.

To become a legal instructor, you need to unlearn and receive a special certificate (about 6,000 rubles). Then you can legally get a job at a driving school, and also start practicing with students using your own or rented car.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR A DRIVING INSTRUCTOR from October 28, 2018

According to the new professional standard dated October 28, 2018, “Master of industrial training in driving vehicles of relevant categories and subcategories,” the following requirements are imposed on instructors:

  • A driving instructor must have a driver's license and an instructor's license for the category of vehicle for which he plans to provide training;
  • A secondary vocational education is also required. If this is your profile, then you do not need to study additionally, but if not, you will need to obtain an additional professional degree. education;
  • The instructor should have no restrictions on engaging in teaching activities, as well as medical contraindications;
  • The instructor must undergo certification for suitability for the position;
  • The driving instructor must be instructed in labor safety;
  • The instructor must have at least 3 years of driving experience;
  • The instructor must not have lost his or her license for 5 years.

TO BECOME A DRIVING INSTRUCTOR IN A DRIVING SCHOOL YOU NEED...

In addition to having a driver’s license of the appropriate category or subcategory, driving school driving instructors (in-service training masters) are also subject to qualification requirements.

Employment in a driving school using a work book is the easiest option. In this case, there is no need to register as an individual entrepreneur with the tax authority. The driving school will give you all the necessary documents for the car. All contributions to the funds will be made by the driving school.

And if a driving school concludes an agreement with you to provide the services of a driving instructor, then you cannot do without registering an “IP”. In this case, you yourself will have to make all contributions to the funds and pay taxes. But you can legally give private driving lessons by renting a training car from your own driving school.

CANNY

If you do not want to enter into an employment relationship with a driving school, then it is better not to engage in such activities without registering with the tax authority. Even the rake fires once a year.

In addition to registering an individual entrepreneur, a driver's license and 3 years of driving experience, you need to convert your car into a training car. How? Equip with duplicate clutch and brake pedals (this is the minimum, a gas pedal is also possible), and install the “Training” identification mark. Before making changes to the design of the car, contact the traffic police with an application for changes to the design of the car. Having paid for the installation of additional pedals (about 13 thousand rubles), a technical examination of the car’s safety (about 5,000 rubles), installation of the “U” sign (about 2,000 rubles), take care of the documents to the State Traffic Inspectorate to register the car as a training vehicle. After paying the state fees, you will be issued a new certificate for the car. Only then can you legally teach driving. Yes, take the documents for the car and the duplicate pedals with you. Don't forget about your driving instructor's license.

CERTIFICATE FOR THE RIGHT TO LEARN DRIVING

As such, driving schools receive a license to teach driving, and a private driving instructor needs to obtain a “Certificate of the right to teach driving.”

This certificate is issued based on the results of short-term courses; most often such courses are conducted on the basis of DOSAAF and similar government organizations. Courses in almost all organizations consist of 126 hours of theoretical and practical training, and also involve 130 hours of self-study. The cost of such courses and, accordingly, obtaining a certificate for the right to learn to drive a vehicle varies depending on the region. In Kostroma it costs from 4,000 rubles, in Moscow about 10,000 rubles. But not only the prices are different, the content of the training program is different. Therefore, before concluding a contract for your training, familiarize yourself with the program in which you will be trained.

INSURANCE FOR A STUDY VEHICLE

Another point: insurance. Insurance for a school car is significantly more expensive. Although the law on compulsory motor vehicle liability insurance does not contain a word about tariffs for educational cars, it does state that using a car in sports competitions and as a training vehicle is considered a non-insurable event. If the car is used as a school car, and the policy states “for personal use,” then the insurance company will refuse to pay in case of an accident. When teaching driving practice, the driver is considered to be the person teaching. The driving instructor must insure his own liability; in the event of an accident, responsibility lies entirely with the instructor.

Therefore, it is better to protect yourself, properly apply for compulsory motor liability insurance and also apply for CASCO insurance. Because while students are driving, they mostly get into minor accidents, because they are not allowed to drive at speeds above 40 km/h, but it’s still better to let the insurance company pay for the repairs than to drive a broken car, which will only scare away customers. But this is again subject to the above requirements for a private instructor.

HOW MUCH DOES A CAR INSTRUCTOR EARN?

If you look at the job market, you can say that for Moscow, a driving instructor earns 30-50 thousand rubles. In Pyatigorsk, for example, they promise from 20 thousand rubles, in Novosibirsk 20-50 thousand rubles. But we know that if the ad says “from”, then they will pay this minimum wage.

The cost of one lesson in a driving school is about 500 rubles, and a lesson with a private driving instructor costs 750-1200 rubles, it all depends on the class of car. But you shouldn’t quit your driving school and become a private instructor. Driving education is subject to seasons, today there are many students, and tomorrow there will be none. The best option is part-time work. In addition, driving schools often require an instructor in a personal training vehicle.

There are websites that match students with tutors, including driving instructors. You can publish your ad on various sites, but the best advertising is positive feedback from your students. If you have become a private driving instructor, create your resume on our website; reviews from your grateful students will serve as good free advertising for you.

I learned to drive, like many village boys, when I was still a teenager. Having not yet received his license, he himself taught the boys on his father’s wreck in exchange for various little things. So I learned to explain patiently until the person gets it. In the army he was a driver, and in civilian life he became a taxi driver. When the child was born, I decided to do something calmer, and my friends advised me to look into a driving school. The path “taxi driver - driving instructor” is quite popular. But many become instructors “from the street.”

How to become a driving instructor?

There is a list of formal requirements for an instructor. This includes having a driver's license; driving experience of at least 3 years; education not lower than secondary; certificate of completion of instructor courses. If you don’t have a certificate, but you have everything else, plus a specially equipped car, then you can become a private driving instructor.

To obtain this certificate, you must take a driving instructor course. They help refresh your memory of basic knowledge, and also provide information specifically for working with beginners, the basics of pedagogy and other little things. The courses are paid, about 10-15 thousand rubles.

Then you can look for vacancies on websites, but I would advise not to waste time, but to call schools directly and inquire. I called, and already at the third school I was invited for an interview.

What does a good driving instructor need?

First of all, experience. Not the number of years for show or tens of thousands of “known” kilometers, but good, strong experience. Of course, no serious accidents due to his fault, deprivation of rights, violations of traffic rules... in this case, he simply will not be allowed to study.

And with experience comes a feeling for the car, the ability to make small repairs “on the spot” with your own hands, and knowledge of the secrets of moving around the city, legal, of course!

A desire to work in this profession is a must. Not because you like to turn the wheel - for this you can be a truck driver, a bus driver, and a courier. But because I want to teach people.

And here is the ability to teach. If you taught your wife, friend or son to drive, it doesn’t mean anything. You know your family and friends, but strangers are different! And girls who were bought a little red car, or boys who have been able to do everything for a long time and only need a piece of paper, and pensioners who want to catch up...

It is very important to have endurance. In a critical situation, do not scare the student with screams, but clearly and quickly solve the problem.

The instructor must also remember that he is a model of behavior for the student. Do not smoke in the car, do not look at your phone, do not yell obscenities at other drivers. Do not enter into conflicts - he is responsible not only for himself, but also for the student in the salon.

What does your work day look like?

I get up at 6 am, have breakfast, go to the garage, go through a medical examination, get a waybill, meet with the student - and it begins.... It all depends on the individual student. We can go to the city or practice the program at the race track. Then one shift ends and another begins, with a different student, based on his knowledge and needs.

If you tell it like this, then the working day looks dull and monotonous. In fact, I don’t notice boredom or routine: different people, there are both funny incidents and acute situations, after which the adrenaline just bubbles up (unfortunately!). I will never forget my student, a retired pediatrician, who decided to take up road trips around the region. Dashingly learned all the rules, mastered the car - and drove around the city, loudly and childishly swearing at all the violators.

Pros and cons of being a driving instructor?

New people, interesting – and sometimes useful! – acquaintances and connections. This is the biggest plus.

Minus - . In polite society they don’t talk about this, but I would like to warn novice instructors about the prevention of hemorrhoids. You also have to breathe in exhaust fumes, which also doesn’t add to your health.

What stereotypes about instructors have you encountered?

The most offensive is the supposedly huge salaries for simply sitting next to the student. You already understand that this is not just sitting next to each other. But salaries... In Moscow, an instructor is promised about 50 thousand rubles, in the provinces - about 20 thousand. Salary depends on the school. In large ones, well-stocked with clients, you can actually earn money (I just get 40 thousand), but in small schools or in unpopular categories, don’t expect anything significant.

What is the difference between a private instructor and a school one?

This is for those who already feel confident. Personally, I want to work as an instructor at a driving school for a few more years and only then switch to private training.

The advantages of a driving school are the presence of a government-owned car, the management takes care of the supply of students, and a stable salary. Disadvantages: the salary is small, the students are different, and you can’t choose your boss either.

The advantages of private instruction are working on your own schedule and the ability to set your own prices. Disadvantages - there is no flow of clients, you need to advertise yourself, look for students. You need to take care of your personal car in good working order, re-equip it (install duplicate clutch and brake pedals) and register it as a training vehicle. And don’t forget the letter “U”! Such modernization is expensive, plus remember the price of gasoline, the need to constantly maintain the “presentation” of the car, the costs of related little things, registration of an individual entrepreneur...

A private instructor can charge from 500 to 1,500 rubles per hour, or even more, but can you withstand the competition, can you properly advertise yourself and maintain a constant flow of clients? I doubt myself, so for now I work at a driving school.

You can combine private lessons and work at a driving school, but I’m not ready to spend 20 hours in a car, it gets boring.

What should novice instructors be warned about?

There is one little-known point that, unfortunately, some people encounter. There is always competition between driving schools, a struggle for new students. Dirty methods are also used - for example, “fake” reviews. The instructor's name is taken at random from the driving school's website and a devastating review is written about his incompetence, unprofessionalism, and if the review is from a girl, then about his attempts. Management begins to find out whether such a student actually existed, whether this instructor worked in those days, and it often turns out that the review is slanderous. But, as they say, “the spoons were found, but the sediment remained.”

Do not mess with dishonest instructors. “Experienced” colleagues may advise you on how to get additional profit - don’t fall for it! I will not talk about the moral side of the issue, I will only say that all these tricks are known to the managers, and sooner or later such an instructor will be kicked out. If you don't like your salary, resolve the issue with management or change schools.

Be very careful with students. This is funny only in staged videos, jokes or TV series; in reality, everything can end very sadly.

And – this is very important when you teach women! – immediately place emphasis on “teacher” and “student”. In a cramped car, you will have to touch the student often, take him by the arm or shoulder, touch his hip so that he places his foot correctly. If you do not immediately outline the boundaries and boundaries, misunderstandings may arise. Although women instructors are now appearing in driving schools, so girls are more likely to choose them.

Reference

The words of the great adventurer Ostap Bender: “A car is not a luxury, but a means of transportation” sound especially relevant today. It is difficult to imagine our life without personal transport. Driving skills in Russia are taught by driving instructors. In short - driving instructor. Everyone understands the demand for this profession. Note that in large cities there are periodic traffic jams, chaotic traffic is not uncommon, and many drivers do not have good driving habits. Therefore, the profession of an instructor will be relevant for a long time.

Description of activity

The driving instructor consolidates the theoretical knowledge acquired in traffic rules lessons and conducts practical skills classes.

Job responsibilities

The work schedule of a driving instructor includes the following responsibilities: training at a specialized site, driving training in urban conditions, consolidation of theoretical skills. Under the guidance of an instructor, the student, on a specially prepared site, goes through the basic elements of driving, which imitate the route of real roads - these are “snake”, “slide”, “overpass”. In the city, the instructor forces you to repeat standard movements many times (start from a standstill, park, move in traffic, overtake, change lanes, make small and large circles, etc.).

Features of career growth

The possibility of private practice is a big plus of this profession. Having gained experience working as an ordinary instructor in a driving school, you can start your own career. Professional private driving instructors are becoming more and more popular among car enthusiasts. Their services are needed not only by novice drivers, but also by drivers with considerable experience. Today, private instructors are developing additional training programs. For example, a program for “rehabilitation of driving skills” (restoring lost skills and, if necessary, replacing incorrect skills), “advanced training” (training driving skills in critical, emergency situations).
